Carole recently stepped off the retail track of owning two music stores to form her Marketing Group. In the 20 years as President of Big Valley Music, she grew her business over 100% from a sleepy guitar store to an expanded 2 store operation with over $1 million annual gross. Promotions to grow sales included Rockin' On The Roof (with rock bands performing on the roof of the music store); Free! Music Swap Meets; Masterclass with noted guitarist, Frederic Noad; Seminar: How to Promote Your Band (which won an award from Testa Publications); Masterclass with clarinetist, Mitchell Lurie; plus countless free clinics for piano teachers, percussionists, flute, clarinet and guitar players.

Carole's diverse background includes her ownership of hair salons in Southern California and marketing strategies for veterinary hospitals clients.

Carole's down to earth attitude and warm approachability is evident in her passion as an active leader to keep instrumental music programs in the schools. The Los Angeles elementary music teachers awarded her their Outstanding Achievement Award for her efforts that not only stopped the district from diminishing the program but actually helped expand and strengthen them.

Carole has received the Outstanding Business Woman of the Year (Athena) from the Encino Chamber of Commerce, the Cal State Northridge, University Women's Award for Service to the Community and the Education Award from the "Music and Sound Magazine"."

She has served as President for Music Associates (a music store trade association) and served on the San Fernando Girl Scout Board of Directors and Board of Directors for the San Fernando West Valley Symphony Association.

Carole taught marketing and sales at the Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics in St. Petersburg, Russia. She has also conducted classes at Pierce and Cerritos College and is a frequent guest lecturer for music industry classes at Cal State Northridge University.

She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Cal State Long Beach and has attended the Executive Program at UCLA..
